  1. John thanks for all your likes I find scattered over my site I do appreciate them. I’ve visited your site several times but (not being much of a poetry buff) just haven’t been able to grasp your poems (put it down to dumb blonde). I never press “like” unless I mean it sincerely so have been in a bit of a quandary as to how to react to your poems, but this one is simple enough for me to grasp and I loved it, so big smiling like!

    • Thank You, Claire, for your lovely warm response.
Please don’t feel in any way obliged to comment on my poems, I understand perfectly. As I’m retired I can afford to spend a few hours every day viewing, reading, liking and reviewing..so don’t mind me.

Again, thank you for liking the haiku
      My best to you

  2. John, beautiful Haiku, creating a wonderfully colorful visual. I imagine Mother Nature as the artist, and your fantastic phrase, “rusty woodland”, allows me to see the wide range of colors found at this time of year. Thank you!

    Warm wishes,

    • Thank You so much, Sahil, for reading and liking, it means a lot to me.
I shall view your link when I get an extra minute, right now I’m caught up in ‘domestic bliss’

      My best to you

  3. The onset of autumn and a marvelous John Flanagan Haiku! It simply does not get much better than that. As with many of my attempts to pursue, Haikus of substance were never scribed by my pen. You have mastered them as is herein evidenced.
