Well that explains a lot! Seriously, though, as an exercise this can be quite revealing of oneself if you take your initial thought. Nice, John.

I like it. But I will have to google xenophilic. So will spell check evidently. 🙂
Thank you, Eileen
For reading and responding.
Xenophilic is the counter to xenophobic, the positive where one likes strangers, foreigners and foreign things as indeed I do.
Big hugs

Unabashed self-examination John and this brings to mind that such an exercise would be most worthwhile for myself! I think I could be objective taking a look in the mirror…or would the mirror jade my perspective? Hmmmm. I’ll give it a go. I think I would like the list in the end run. There are a few personality traits I would readily trade for a tamer lot though would life be half as interesting?
Yes

i believe there comes a time when all of us need self-evaluaion; if Rembrandt could paint several self-portraits why not writers paint theirs?
Always with my best

I love this! Might have a go later!!
Hello John,
Your evocative poetry has often been on my mind while I’ve been away. Now that I’ve finally gotten my new site, theshieldofachilles.net, up and buzzing, I’ve come searching for your poem, Sandals on the Ground, to repost on my blog. But I cant’ find it! Can you please republish it? I still have a copy saved in my drafts and it’s like gold burning a hole in my pocket – It’s such a treasure, please republish it and send me the link. It will be a great honor to share your poetry on my blog.
Cheers and Best Wishes, Kathleen
Sounds like a beautiful soul to me!! ❤
